Plywood People Coworking Tables & Banquettes

ATLANTA, GEORGIA | 2019

White oak tables and blue upholstered banquettes create commuter workspaces at Plywood Place for the Plywood People team and its startup community.

Furniture and Project Details

Plywood People is a local non-profit leading a community of startups doing good. Their office, known as Plywood Place, exists as a collaborative workspace for their team and small businesses in need of an office space. They offer “commuter desks”, a space for individuals who drop in and need an innovative, collaborative spot to work. We brought their “commuter desks” to life with custom made banquette seating and modern rectangular tables.

The banquettes are handcrafted from high-quality hardwoods and are covered in a contemporary blue upholstery. These custom banquettes make collaboration and solo work time easy. The rectangular tables were crafted out of Natural White Oak hardwoods and finished with our commercial grade finish. The top is supported by a modern minimal black steel base. These pieces of furniture reinvent the cafe workspace vibe. It was an honor working on this project for Plywood People and we hope great ideas flourish around these desks!
